They fit perfect! I know that Kirk (SHODOWN) has a set on his SHO, and many other Gen 3 owners have them. They give the car sort of an OEM sportier look.
Tire size of choice seems to be either 235/45/17 or 245/45/17.

I have them. I have the real Ford ones not an aftermarket brand and they fit perfect.

"235/45/17 Kumhos pronounced *** **"

Actually, a Korean aquatience of mine says it is pronounced COOM **. Another marketing scheme bites the dust...

I agree. I had a set of their Z rated 712s. It was not a good tire, from a handling standpoint. And it had very serious problems with cool temperatures also. I think that most people that have had them have become aware of the difficulties, but you do have to admit that they are cheap. Unfortunately, it seems you get what you pay for. :)

I have a set of 245/45/16 712s. Could not get them to break loose at the convention. A fantastic rain tire too. Kumho will tell you not to use them under 40F. If you use a summer tire and a winter tire you will avoid the compromises of an all season tire.

I don't agree at all. At temps below 15C (60F) the tires are very squirmy, even at maximum pressures. Under all conditions they like to follow cracks in the road. And on curve reversing you can feel the transition difficulties very clearly as the tread and sidewalls disagree about which direction to go in. For normal driving, they are fine. For going seriously fast on windy back roads, I would not suggest them.
