Hi all,
I know noises r a shot in the dark to discribe, but here goes. My '94 mtx has developed a rattle/clicking sound from the drivers side during right turns under acceleration.
Weird thing is it ONLY happens when accelerating anywhere from half to full throttle while turning right....no other combination will make it happen. Cornering speed doesnt have any effect. Neutral or in gear has no effect. This makes me think that it isnt suspension related (plus 95% of my suspension/bushings are new). Also, the rattle/clicking is not a constant frequency and is not related to rpm in any way. Could this be an issue with a wheel bearing or an axle (trans? Man I hope not). Here are some facts about the car. Strut rod caps welded, new poly strut rod bushings, new swaybar endlinks, new swaybar bushings, SFC, ALSFB, koni's/Intrax, Wavetrac.
Funny thing it I didnt notice it until after I put on my new exhaust....but I dont see how the 2 could be related. Any ideas? It there a way to check the wheel bearing and axle? Im kinda lost on this one. Thanks
Jeremy
