I'm not sure what could be causing this, but my right rear wheel is making a weird noise at certain speeds. It kinda sounds like a n owl hooting :oogle: I'm thinking maybe a wheel bearing, or possibly a stuck caliper? I went ahead and shot some video, you just have to make sure the volume is up. Any input is greatly appreciated! :thumb:

Right, cuz I just had it up on a lift to do a front right wheel bearing. I checked the rears pulling on them in a 12-6 oclock fashion and they didn't give one bit. Hmmm....

Make some really sharp turns at the speed where you're hearing the noise. If it goes away then it's a wheel bearing.

Check slider pins. Replace if rusty. If your flex brake line is older replace it. Swap right and left rotors. If the sound moves it is the rotor. If it doesn't change then look to the bearing.

Where would the slider pins be? I'm just about positive they'd be rusty. Flex brake line is also a new term for me, what would this look like?

Thanks,

the slider pins r what the caliper moves on they r located at the top of the rear of the caliper and they should have a rubber billow on them. its been awhile since i have taken my rears apart so i don't know what tools u need be it socket or hex key or allen but they r threaded into the caliper bracket just get them out and lightly sand off any rust and grease them up. autozone sells little packets of brake grease for like a dollar. the flex brake line is the brake line that attaches to the top of the caliper be it a rubber line or braided stainless steel but if its stainless steel u shouldn't be having problems with them
