:woo-hoo::woo-hoo:i,m workin on my buddys 93 atx,got a code 113 n 157 act n maf volt low,changed the fuel filter,was really clogged up.the car idles decent now but when you whack it it bogs n will not rev over 4000.the secondarys are opening but derd on top n is a dog on gas.the the back plugs were badly fouled(6 was toast n was loose),i changed the tps n DIS,( are mtx n atx the same?) any idea guys ??? also checked n cleaned the grounds n they look good,when i left the bolts off my 90 mtx this how it ran too help pleaase :thankyou:

good possibilty,its pretty quiet for having a broken expansion joint on the exhaust, no funny whoosing sounds usually associated with a clogged cat although, but there is a is a funny sorta whistle like a vac leak n we both have looked hi n low for it thanks for the ideal, the more i think about it the more sense that makes

Unplug the MAF and drive it see if that helps.

Volts low would be broken wire or severe corrosion.

ok guys it purrs like a kitten now,new plugs n cleaned the MAF,then said heck with it we had one that was in better shape so just swapped em out,revs n pulls fine all the way to 7200 rpm when ya get in to it,funny thing is if you are in park n rev it only goes to 4200 n sounds like its hittin a rev limiter,is this factory ?besides that my buddy is happy n says this is the best it has ever run, thanks for all the suggestions

that's a factory limiter meant to keep you from destroying your torque converter.
