Heya guys. I’m restoring an emerald green 95 SHO, used to be my uncles but now I want to get her going and pretty again. It is nice to meet you :)

If possible I would like to know who has/previously has owned one just in case I have any questions as I continue with this.

Welcome! There are quite a few Gen 1/2 owners on the forum who can answer questions. The search function is also helpful as these cars have been around for awhile so past owners have documented issues/solutions with these cars.

Welcome in! I currently own a 1992 and a 1995. I'm pretty sure I or a number of other members here can answer any questions that you might have. Its hard to tell from the pic that you posted but it appears to be an automatic car. Is that correct?

It is. 3.2 and quite a bit of a challenge for me. I appear to have messed something up on the front passenger brake system and cannot fully put the tire on.

What did you do to the brakes? Post some pics to show the current situation.

Hi there, I replaced the rotors, calipers and brake pads on the front passenger side. I will get a photo tomorrow morning but, the lug nuts are tightened to torque but don’t seem to be on the threads. (on the other tires the thread pokes out of the nut, on this tire it doesn’t)

I replaced the caliper, rotor and brake pads. This is what it looks like, the lug nuts are not fully engaged. We tried reinstalling the brakes but it’s not goin.

EDIT: The studs are stock as well as the rims. I can’t find anything that could cause obstruction underneath.

Other than the rotor not being properly seated, and assuming that they were the correct calipers, that's quite strange.

Are you sure that you have the correct rotor for the car? If the rotor is sitting flush on the hub then the studs would not have any length difference. If you didn't change the hub or studs then something you added while doing the brakes is not correct. Take a pic with the wheel off and post it here.

If the left side went on okay, can't you compare them to each other to see what the difference is between the two

YEs go back and check your work. Compare with the opposite side. Caliper and caliper bracket install, rotor fitment, received correct parts? etc

I always research the correct part number before I purchase a part. That kind of stuff happens at parts stores and sometimes in the catalog itself for these cars
