My driver's side rear handle snapped off.

It appears to be riveted on or am I missing something?

They are riveted on with 1/4 inch rivets. You can use a drift pin to knock the center out of the old rivets and then drill out the rest. A replacement one from the junkyard can be installed with button head screws, washer, and nut or if you have access to a 1/4 inch rivet gun. I know there are other threads on this site on what size screws to use, but not sure about the rivet size/length. Just do a search on door handle replacement.
