I was wondering if this a job any garage tree mechanic could do I would rent a spring compressor from autozone but need to know what else is involved. Today while doing oil change i realized the rear coil spring was broke it was actually fractured i have two springs sitting here from joe that I assume are the good ones that need to go on the car. Since i cant afford the 300 dollars a shop quoted I am looking to try and do this at home when i take the coil packs and other shit off testing to find out why it occasionally stalls and runs like ass where it wont move even if you feather the gas

far from easy, but doable. Even with a professional spring compressor, these are a PITA

the actual changing of the spring wasn't too bad for me and it was the first time I did them. It was getting to spring that was the PITA
