That seems to be the answer of the day :). I'm also wondering if I need new seals for the injectors. I've heard two sides.

The only time I've replaced one was when my new motor was on a stand, and I was screwing a nice new shiny Ford sensor. Good luck putting that in with the motor in the car. I think it would be hard enough with the heads on, I would bet it is impossible with the fuel rails still on.

Where your seals replaced with the new engine, if they are recent you are probably fine. If not the seal kit isn't that much $... If I were pulling them I'd replace the seals no matter how old they are. But that is me.

I have replaced the knock sensor on my engine two times; once with the fuel rails out of the way and once, I believe, with the fuel rails in place. I think it was a 6" extension on the socket that fit easily between the rails. I do not recall the method that I removed and replacd the sensor around the fule injectors and wiring.
