hey guys. i snapped a wheel stud and was looking for replacements. i had to replace a couple fronts before. the ones i got were shorter than the ones that were in there but they worked, so i used them. i've never been comfortable with the studs being that short, as the nut does not engage the stud completely. what is the correct length for the front wheel stud? maybe a manufacturer part #. thanks in advance guys.

thats the same size that i got before and they are not long enough to engage all the threads on the nut.

I don't have part #'s but I remember having problems getting the correct length from Ford myself. I don't remember if I eventually found them at AutoZone, or if Ford did find me the right ones (this was years ago... bad memory). Anyhow, best thing to do is try to tap an existing one out and take it to the dealer and try to get them to match one. Also order several spare lug nuts (these you CAN get from AutoZone) because you're probably going to destroy several of them when you try to draw the stud back through hub with the lug nuts.
