Does anyone have a suggestion on good replacement cable ends? The battery connections on both of the Gen 1's are looking pretty shot.

TIA

Good replacement ends? I've never found any that I'm happy with. Most recently, I went to a lug on the end of the wire, and a terminal with a stud on it. I found some at wal-mart, but I think most auto parts stores sell them, and call them "Marine battery terminals".

I've had one of those brass ones crack in half.

What did you end up doing?

I just redid my positive and negative terminals and used marine battery terminals along with 2/0 compression lugs that I crimped on and covered with adhesive lined heat shrink...

With the adhesive heat shrink, the crimp connection is weatherproof and airtight. The cables will probably outlast the car now...HTH
