My speedo cable came unplugged from the ATX while Adam and I were doing a few things on my 93 ATX. So my question is should I replace the VSS since I will be in there and anyone who was done it knows how much fun it is working on that part of an ATX.
I have read all the searches and posts and know how problematic they are, but I have not had any problem with mine. Background on the SHO is it is a 93 with a 94 low mile engine and ATX which was recently rebuilt with a shift kit.
I am completely aware of how to get to it and what all is involved. I just would like some input on whether or not I should replace it.
Also has anyone gotten the right part from local auto store like AutoZone or is fordpartsnetwork the best option. I am going to tackling this soon so time is sensitive. I have to get this back on the road to make the winter run down in Texas.
TIA
Eric
