Hey everyone. I'm in the middle of changing my struts and springs and as some of you may have read I busted the bolt head right off my pinch bolt. I now have everything disassembled and would like to get the spindle and struts up on a work bench so I can try to drill out the broken bolt. The only thing is that I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the ABS sensor out. There's a little bolt on the back side of the spindle that I removed that looked like it was holding the sensor and sensor bracket in place. I beat on what looks like the bracket for the sensor thinking it was just a little rusted but could not get it off. What am I missing? Or am I just supposed to tap on the sensor from the front side and beat it through?

I may also be looking at getting a new left (driver's side) rear spindle because I already started drilling the hole crooked while the unit was resting on the floor. Does AutoZone carry one of those? I tried looking it up online but no luck. Anywhere else I can get one for cheap besides having to order one from a salvage yard for a lot of $$? All these parts have about emptied my wallet, so if anyone here has one they'd like to sell for cheap let me know please! ;)

Thanks!

Your better off unplugging the sensor under the rear seat then removing the knuckle. 99% chance is it will be busted when you remove it form the knuckle. Its rusted in and its a common issue.

Ahhh.... so do I just remove the bottom of the rear set? Or do I have to remove the top portion of the rear seat too?? Thanks for all your help you've been giving me so far!

Just the bottom part, thats where the connector is for the ABS sensor. Then you will have to take it out from above the gas tank and down the control arm.
