Hey all first post here. I have 2015 sho and I bought hitch for my bike rack. I have to lower the exhausts to install but I want run straight pipe eventually. What I want to do completely take off the exhaust from the first ****** for the rear and remove the exhausts completely when I go to install the hitch. My question is I won't be able to get the straight pipes fabricated for a couple of weeks so I'm wondering if anyone has left their exhaust off with the pipes coming from the motor and run the car with the pipe open towards the middle of the car? My concern is it might be too hot for the bottom of the car or maybe damage something? It'll only be like this for a couple of weeks.

Thanks in advance!

Or you could snort exhaust that is supposed to be routed away from the car. I would do the pipes first.

Just go to an exhaust shop and have them bend you up a set of straight pipes. You will end up hating it BTW, everyV6 sounds like trash straight piped except the GN's.
