removal of Keyless entry pad on door

How do I remove it from the drivers door with breaking anything?

From searching I am informed that it is not wired directly to the box, but uses radio like the key chain remote.

Its wired in. There is a little clip that has to be slid off from inside the door then the pad will come out from the outside.
