I have a quick question, kind of an emergency cuz I need to have this project wrapped u today. I am installing a sub and amp, and I realized that the remote wire is the same wire the power antenna uses, is it ok to slice off this wire and run to both the amp and the antenna? It doesn't power the antenna correct?

ok, also, I am kinda a noob to the audio world so I just want to double check I am not going to blow anything up. I have an ALPINE MRP-M500 Amp (500watts RMS 2 OHM and 300@4ohm) running to a Pioneer TSSW2501S4 10" Shallow Sub, 1200WATT Max and 300WATT RMS. Nothings going to break correct? Also, there are 4-wires coming out of the amp, a left and a right speaker, should I hook all 4 up to the sub?

Any suggestions for the gain, bass eq, lp filter settings would be appreciated. Basically, I just want to make sure nothing is going to go kaboom. I ran the power wire through the firewall to the battery, (6Guage with an 80amp fuse), going to gorund it now to a bolt hole, have to find a good one.

Any help without sarcasm would be appreciated. :)
I know some of this may sound kinda stupid, but I would rather sound stupid about audio on the internet, then blow the money and time I just spent in the flick of a switch.
