Remote Starter Question

Does anyone have or know about remote starters? I bought my SHO with one installed but have no idea how it to get it to work. The guy I bought it from didn't even mention the car had it. I found out through the previous owner. He said the day he sold the car it worked. I have no idea how it works. I can get the car lights to turn on through the remote. I can't even figure out what brand it is. Can anyone point me in the right direction how to at least find the manufacture? I figure if I can find a name I might be able to get them to help me to get it working.

check to see if the hood pin switch is working right(this prevents the remote start from starting when the hood is open) or look for a valet switch under the dash to disable the starting action........

Is it a "Ford" remote. Got a pic of it? I have seen ones where you hit the lock button 2 times in a row and it works... Also there may not be a hood pin if the wire was hooked up to the underhood light. Usually the boxes will be somewhere up above your feet wire tied in.

Look on the remote for an FCC ID#, then GOOGLE it.

Try pushing both the top two buttons at the same time.
