If the 92 SHO I'm going to buy doesn't have the remote Keyless Entry, can I buy the remote/module from like a 93 or 94 and install it on the 92?

If you are just looking for a standalone keyless entry system, they can be had for about $19. Going through the hassle of removing all the associated components would be far more troublesome.

It all depends on what you're looking for in an alarm and how big your budget is. Obviously, you get what you pay for, especially when purchasing electronics.

What ever you do, don't do like I did...
I have a 94 that didn't come with remote keyless, so I bought the module that mounts trunk from a 94 SHO with remote keyless, and a new set of key fobs. Then I found out that the wiring harness for SHOs with the remote keyless is completely different, and unless I re-wire my car, I can't use it.
