remote entry

just a quick q... did all 99 sho's come with remote entry? I bought mine and it only had a key, but it seems that the owner before me installed an aftermarket one 'cause there are wires all over the place under the dash. one is hooked up to the brake and there is a button and a on/off switch. my guess is that the previous owner installed a remote start. If this is the case and he took it out would there be any problems removing the wires. thanks in advance TJ

If the computer for Alarm is removed there should be any power going to them anymore...I wouldnt see why you shouldnt remove them.
