I have seen ppl relocate the EATC to under the stero but has anyone tried/done it with a manual climte control. I know there is a cable connected to it so I think that would be the biggest hang up.

Thanks,
Anthony

I dont think it would be too much trouble do to. Maybe at the most, you would have to modify the place under the stereo in order for it to fit. Dont quote me on this but i think it would be a simple pop it out, rerun wires, and pop it back in job...

Anyone wanna 'sk00l' me? hehe

Since the distance between the slots are close, i woudl imagine that the wireing would be able to reach... What about mechanical stuff behind the EATC??? I have had no experience with this kind of stuff but to me, it does not seem to be a hard task... Maybe something that can be done in a few hours at the most?

I just did that yesterday and had no problem. I trimmed the screw tabs off the side of the EATC face, and everything fit. I still wish the EATC could fit a little further into the bexel, though. Maybe a little more work with the dremel will do the trick.

Cable is long enough, just need to re run it, only hard part is trimming the EACT to fit, then stay. I used Velcro and it work fine.
