Wondering if anybody knows of any shop/vendor that could hook me up with a reinforced/bulletproofed transfer case. Just want to make sure i have the powertrain beefed up before i try to ramp up the power.

Aaron Schwartz used to make PTU braces, that's about all you can buy. Put a big cooler on it and it'll be much happier

Power doesn't **** the PTU. Lack of maintenance does.

The brace was just to help it not flex under high torque. Flexing would cause the gears to have for axial play and could misalign them. But a brace is not a fix for anything. Early models 2016 and earlier have component issues and multiple changes made throughout the years to help the issues with the bearings. Lack of maintenance and heat causing the oil break down quickly and bearing cage breaks and a roller bearing goes into the blender and its done. Hopefully wont take out the bellhousing when it shatters like an egg. If you are that worried about the ptu. Then install the newest ford revision and change fluids often
