Has anyone put in a reinforced MTX mount and it is a worthwhile upgrade ? any downsides ? I'm NA now but looking to go Turbo in the upcoming year so getting all the HD driveline stuff in place first.

Reinforce the motor mounts and leave the tranny mount alone. The tranny case may not hold up the harshness. The motor mounts will barely move anyway so it saves the tranny mount.

i have reinforced mounts all around in my 93. i think the trans mount is unnecessary at least at my power level, but i had it so i put it in. like sho fast said you can sure feel what the car is doing allot better. that can be good for some and bad for others

Don't do the tranny mount. The transmission case isn't going to like the harsh vibrations or the extra torque.

Looks like I'll install the Shonut Reinforced MM's and stay stock with the Trans mount; thanks for the input.

i know im gonna sound like a ******* now since im telling you to stay away from shonuts mounts. but in all reality i just drilled holes threw my stockers and put bolts in there...
i have zero engine movement with the parking brake on and in gear.

i got a tad bit of vibrating at idle but i dont mind it knowing my engine isnt moving anywhere.
also seems more responsive since it cant move.

Already have the Shonut reinforced mounts; got them slightly used for under $100 for the pair; haven't heard anything bad about these, versus mixed reviews on the solid versions.
