I've been contemplating having my 93, 3.0L rebuilt along with the MTX and install a quaife. The motor is currently running fine.

I did some research a while back and ran across a web page that I can't find anymore (should have bookmarked it). The site appeared to specialize in V8 SHO's and offered the installation for the same price as the engine purchase. They also did v6 rebuilds. Does this site ring a bell with anyone? They seemed to specialize in SHO's. Link?

The only other option I've seen is FPS out of Georgia. I'm not too familiar with the Bondurant's that they are offering and would probably prefer to have my 3.0 rebuilt instead, possibly bored out to 3.3l :hail: if the price isn't astronomical.:oogle:

I know the motors are pretty tough when maintained properly. I may just do the rod bearings and let it ride for another 60k. I've done the 60k's on time.

Would there be any benefit to pulling the heads and having them serviced by a reputable shop? or is it more trouble/money than what it's worth?

Who are the reputable SHO engine rebuilders?

If my compression test comes out good, and I replace the rod bearings is there much benefit having a fresh rebuild? I'm really not burning much oil at all either.

I just want to have a little more peace of mind when taking the SHO and family out on long drives.

I know... A lot of questions... Thanks.:type:

The website you are looking for is NESHO, they are a sponsor here on the forum. Their is a link to them on the main page. If you have maintained your motor and it doesn't burn oil, take care of the rod bearings and you are fine.
