I'm trying to remove my stock end links and I'm having a heck of a time. I thought about dropping the sway bar but the bolt on the bottom just keeps spinning and the top of the link has a nut and lots of threading so theres no easy way to get at the nut...

Anyone have any advice or tricks I could use?

Started to do the rear endlinks on a buddies car a long time ago. So rusted up that it just wasn't going to happen. I remember breaking on of the bolts, so we sent it off to someone else to fix. They ended up cutting everything off to get them out. Sounds like you might be in the same boat.

Yeah I suppose I am in a bad spot. Oh well I'll button everything up and wait until I want to have them dealt with.

Wire brush the endlink threads you can reach. Soak bolt down with pb blaster or wd-40.

Put vice grips on middle of endlink tight, so when you turn the bolt at the bottom the vice grips hit the strut and keep the link from turning.

6 corner full circle wrench or very deep 6 corner socket to avoid stripping. Put cheater bar on rachet or use 19mm circle wrench on the box-end of the wrench as a cheater. turn hard.

If that fails you can use a torch on the nut to heat it and loosen.
