I started working on my rear suspension, but both of the pinch bolts were rusted and broke off. Rather than trying to get the bolt out, I think it will be much easier to just pull the whole knuckle/strut out together and replace it all. My "local" junkyard doesn't have any SHO's, but they have plenty of SLO's.

I did a search and it looks like the rear control arms are the same, but are the knuckle's the same as long as they are from a SLO with rear disk brakes? I have new SHO hubs and bearings.

Also, where is the best place to get TPR bushings? Does Napa or Shucks have them?

they are the same even if it has rear drums, the only difference is the hub, between ABS and NON-ABS

The spindles are the same for all Gen I/GenII/Gen III sedans (it may be the same after 1997, but I've never owned a Gen III, so...). What is different is the adapter plate that the brakes mount to, and the hub, depending on year-group (90-92 differs from 93-97)

Spindles:
90-97 / FODZ-4A013-C (right)
90-97 / FODZ-4A013-B (left)

Adapter Plate (disc brakes):
93-97 / F3DZ-2C100-A > F7DZ-2C100-A (right)
93-97 / F3DZ-2C101-A > F7DZ-2C101-A (left)

Hubs:
93-97 / F3DZ-1104-A (right/left)

Damn, when I started typing there were no replies....

Note to self: got to learn to :type: :burnout:.... (faster)

If anyone can post the info for Gen III compatibility after 1997, that would be great. Also, several part numbers have further superceded and I don't have access to them right now. Post those as well if you know the numbers....

I'm in the same boat, and I've pretty much decided to go this route as well. I may be mistaken, but I believe that all Taurii (both SHO and non-SHO) shared the same rear disc setup from 93(?) - 07.

I know the rear hub and rotor are the same, but then again, it's not as if Ford has ever changed the bearing, hub, rotor hat depth, caliper bracket offset, or anything like that before...., within the same generation....
