( I haven't posted in a long while, so I apologize if this has been covered, and I missed it. )
My rear O2 sensor disconnect plug has melted together, so I can't remove the sensor from the wiring harness. I can remove the sensor from the exhaust and maybe pass it up through the top, but I don't think there is much slack in the cable bundle and it may not give me enough to get my hands on the plug. Is pulling the trans the ONLY way to get to cut off the old plug and solder in a new one from the scrap yard ? At 160K miles, I'm sure the sensor could use replacing ?
