All you do is pull the seat back out a little and slide the head rest in.

no gen2s came with them stock.. we just throw them in there. I have an extra set in my garage (well I have a complete set of full mocha's) I might just throw those headrests on my '95..

How do you put them in, its not like the holes are already there? Putting them in would be good. And does anyone else find it strange that base Sable's came with a rear seat that has a little headrest built into the cushion, and top of the line tauri didn't?

i just slid them in between the back of the seat on the package tray. they dont move around at all and they look really good, i'll try to get some pics. Yeah the second gen sable back seat is similar to a first gen SHO back seat, and some first gen sables actually had adjustable rear head rests.... Jeloslug has them in his car.

After seeing this thread and acquiring a spare set of black combo seats, I went to do this today. the drivers one I didnt carte much about so i Just pulled up and once the guts were xposed, i found the clip that holds them in...The passenger seat is MINT so I dont want to rip up the cloth... Do I NEED to undo that clip to get the headrest out, and if so, is there a better way to do it besides pulling it so the clip is exposed. Im thinking maybe the seatback needs to be peeled up, then the clips are easily accessable? Thanks for the info, I already like the look of the Black one in the back, I just need the 2nd one. :dribble:

Can anyone shed any light on how to get the old headrest out of the seat without destroying the seat?

SHO2NV: Those Yammy emblems look nice on the head rests. Nice work. :thumb:

Thanks! I try to be different. :)

Kevin, sorry I don't have the answer. I bought mine alread separated from the seats. I'm sure someone will chime in that knows how it works. :thumb:

Anybody have an extra pair of mocha headrests that they don't need? I'm interested in putting them on my backseats. If anybody has an extra set, how much to send them to 02128? And how much for the headrests? Or you could just give them to me to be nice  Let me know.

might be a little hard, since the bottom cushon on the rear seat already mounts much higher than the buckets up front.

If you've ever removed the rear cushon, you'll notice the gas tank sits right under it.
