Just got the rear struts replaced with sensitracs a few weeks ago...brought it to a shop as the weather sucked to work on it myself...drove it for a few days and noticed the front end nose diving when i hit the brakes..didn't do it prior..well..took a look at the rear brakes..all new last year..calipers..rotors..pads and rubber lines...found the brake proportioning valve rod just sitting there through the suspension with NO harware..spring/cup and nut missing..called the shop..******* couldn't find the parts..geeeeeze..!!!!
Question is..is this the cause of my nose diving now...if so, which position gives more flow to the rear brakes...fully extended or retracted...I'll just secure it in the best position...thanx

more than likely yes! The rear brakes don't do that much, but they do help you come "flater" stop! I believe fully open is the way to go.
