Last I remember the pcm attaches to a connector through the firewall opposite of the glovebox. Open the hood, unscrew the center bolt that goes from the harness to the pcm. Once that is done you can remove the pcm by pulling it forward from the glove box. There may be a plastic clip in the glove box that helps hold it in place. I forget if it's a screw or hex head. It's easy to remove and it might even be slotted and you can push the clip out. It's been many years but I think that's pretty close.

-10mm bolt that holds the harness on. Loosen that bolt (it wont come completely out it stays with the harness) and then remove the harness.

-Then flip your glove box down and remove the (5.5 mm?) hex bolt or w/e has made its way on your car over the years and remove that bracket.

-wiggle and pull the computer toward the back of the car and it will come out. They can be hard to get out sometimes, but it will come, just give it a good tug. **** it's fried already, you could even give it a couple blows from the firewall side with a deadblow hammer if it's giving you a lot of trouble.

Update: Wtf

OK so I finally installed the new ECM and the car will still not start, so to recap the problem started when I threw a belt and now I have replaced the pullys and belt as well as the ECM/PCM computer. Car will turn over and will almost start but will not catch, Not the starter or alternator either since both of those replaced recently and the battery is good because when I open the doors the lights come on, WTF should I do next...car has been down for almost 2 months :braincramp:

Don't know what belt you tossed, but maybe the timing is messed up - is the timing belt okay?

Does it have good spark?

Does it have fuel?

Did the flying belt take off a wire somewhere?

I shredded the accessory belt, yes we checked under the timing cover & it appears to function normally...
Spark? yes
Fuel? yes

What wires should I check that are in the passanger side engine compartment area near the accessry belt??? THanks;)

CPS, but it's under the timing cover. The intake ground strap is right next to the PCM harness and could sort of be in the way of that...

The PCM harness itself, but generally there isn't much in the way of wires on the front of the engine, probably for that specific reason.
