Changing tuners from LMS to GH and curious if I should re-gap to .026 from .028. GH staff say ok to leave it but since I'm changing the 160 to 170 tstat I'm wondering if I should just do the gap as well and be done with it.

This thread is in the V8 Section.

Should it be?

Last time I checked plug gap on a V8 SHO it was ~.044.

This gap sounds like a much closer gap from a different motor than the 3.4 V8.

I agree with Eric. I suspect that MHW 100 has posted the initial question to the wrong forum, and our Gen III people should ignore it. MHW 100, you might want to let me know if you want all this moved somewhere else.

Eventually the .26 will become .28 so, let it fix itself.
