I was under the car yesterday installing a 26mm swaybar, and an exhaust hanger (I never got the hanger on..PITA), well when I was moving the muffler around I heard a rattling coming from the inside of it, well both mufflers actually. Baffles? I also notices that most of my exhaust hangers are shot, lol.

I don't think that is normal. My hangers are ok, but I have my original mufflers and neither of them have any 'rattles inside.'

Doing some research, I think the baffles in my mufflers are broken, or pieces of the cats have gone through the exhaust, and are now sitting in the muffler. I'll take it to an exhaust shop and find out.

if your mufflers rattle when you move them around, chances are that they are broken up inside.

The catylitic converter will blow aprox. 1" chunks of ceramic material down the pipes of which some will find thier way to the ****. If this is the case, you need to replace the mufflers and clear the pipes or you may toast the engine. This is a possibility. A aftermarket y-pipe is more prone to blow a cat than the stock pipe.
