So for the first time the other day I turned my radio on (I usually just use my Ipod hook up) Now I got nothing but fuzz so I put thr power antenna up and still nothing, Heres where it gets weird, I start driving and I can hear my rpm's coming through the radio, the pitch in the fuzz rises and falls with my rpm's and when I put my winndows up and down you can hear that through the speakers too..I don't even know where to start, Help! :salute:

Is this an aftermarket Head-Unit? If so, did you put it in yourself? If so, did you use electrical tape on the connectors? If so they may have loosened over time and you may be getting noise from a ground loop somewhere. Check any connections you may have made to ALL of your audio components.

Nope it's the stock head unit I've never done anything to it, Could the antenna be grounded or something somewhere? If I pull it, what should I look for?

The antenna could have faulted internally. I would still look for loose wires or replace the antenna all together if/when possible.

Do you have to pull the dash to replace the antenna or should I just upgrade to a newer head unit that doesnt use the factory antenna?
