Well it finally happened, the other night I sprung a leak. I was wondering if anyone knew how to do it, or had a diagram of how to do it. I understand that it needs to be taken out from the top and thats about as far as I know. Also does the transmission cooler need to come out also?

What year car is it?

Removed one on a 90.

1. Remove all hoses running into and out of radiator. Remove coolant overflow bottle.
2. Remove plastic piece with belt and vacuum diagrams.
3. Remove the plastic box to the right of that plastic piece.
4. Disconnect the radiator fans.
5. Pull the radiator up and out. It should slide out with the space provided. You might want to remove the oil dipstick as that might get in the way also.

All in all it's not a difficult job, just time consuming. Helps a lot if there are two people to shine light in dark areas so you can see what you are doing.

Hope this helps..

Thanks for the offer but I am at school (Hocking College next to OU) and noSHO goes to OU so we are meeting at one of my friends to do it on Wed. But if you have any suggestions they would be very helpful.

I just replaced my radiator on 94' ATX. I had to remove the fans/shroud to remove the radiator, there was not enough room. The oil lines are a PITA, make sure they are very tight or you will make a big mess. Don't ask me how I know. I bought a new radiator from www.radiator.com through ebay for $114 delivered.
