I have noticed lately that after I shutoff my 14 Ecoboost PI, as the fans shutdown a few seconds after the engine is turned off, I hear them squeaking as they come to a stop.

How hard is it to replace the fan assembly - and does it require that I remove all the front end stuff (bumper cover, radiator, coolers, etc). Or is it an easy drop in type replacement?

Can I assume this is the correct ford part number for said assembly?

Does the PI Ecoboost have only one fan as indicated in that link? Am I crazy, or did I see two motors in my 2018 PP?

ON EDIT: I did a search on that part number, and other sites show two fans...

You should be able to remove the fan without the removal of the radiator as when I flushed my cooling system (which included removal of the radiator) the fans came out first.

Aslo, the new ford fan should not squeak like the old one. I think it was a problem with the brushes making noise.

Cool guys thanks for the info - sounds like I don't need to worry about pulling the actual radiator out or pulling off that clip on bumper cover and associated PITA stuff - I have the part ordered. I'll let you know how it turns out.
