I bought a new radiator today and I am getting ready to put it in but it has two holes on the side(I presume for the ATX cooler) which is fine and dandy except I have an MTX. It did not come with anything to plug it up and keep it closed. Can I just go to an auto store and find something to screw into these. I am probably going to head to the store soon but if anyone has a few ideas in the meantime then let me know. Thanks.

Just leave em' alone. It's not going to harm anything, actually it may vent the moisture that may build up in there into steam and let it out the vents instead of rusting the core from the inside. Just a thought.

No, nothing will leak. The ATX pumps tranny fluid through there to cool it off. It's a totally sealed chamber from the radiator. So leaving them open won't hurt anything. But if the rad is ever removed and used in an ATX car the cooler should be flushed incase any dirt got in there.

Thanks Olympic. I wasn't sure how it worked. I installed it just the way it was and so far everything seems to be going well.
