ok, in between the two secondaries' vacumn lines, they connect into a "T" connector. I have the two lines connected to each vacumn line, but where does the third go?

sorry oh_my oh_my oh_mysdpatt:
I have posted the routing of the secondary vacuum lines from the intake port to the diaphragm actuators. If you had searched on "secondary vacuum routing" you would have found this post.
eek! What did you do with Kirk?SHODWN:
OH OK ENOUGH you two!
Scott I dont think he wanted to know if your were a LARGE man or not.
Erik, arent you the one with the **** sticker on your car?
ok two weeks on the happy gas, when it wears off Ill be mean again![]()
ok, just checked the ground, it was on there, still no spark.Mikeys_Taurus:
Alright bubba, here is what youwant to check... When you put that intake manifold back on, there is a ground strap that attaches to the rear, left (if you are facing the car) intake brace. Make sure you got this ground bolted to that brace. If it's not there, make sure you have both bolts in the crossover tube.
Scott, not to hop on the ass train or anything, but even I wouldn't have thought to specifically look up "secondary vacuum routing". Usually people here refer to stuff like that as "that vacuum doohicky" and "that box that makes the butterfly thingies open" and that makes searching for something so specific kind of difficult.
Edit: Scrap checking the crossover tube... Your code is for lack of power to the PCM. Make sure that ground cable is on the intake support.![]()
the dis is bolted on, and i believe the plugs are in all the way, but il double check. and the crossover tube, what would that be exactly? sry for my incompetence, dont know the terms shrugMikeys_Taurus:
Did you check the crossover tube bolts and the DIS module plugS? The intake acts as a ground for your DIS. Without the ground, you will get no spark. To test this, take a multimeter and put the red lead on the positive battery post. Take the black lead and stick it on the crossover tube. You should be getting about 12.8 volts with the car off.
oh, one more thing. there is another wire coming out of the firewall maybe 2 inches to the left of the master cylinder. it is a small wire, and doesnt seem long enough to hook into anything. any guesses?93EmeraldMTX:
