course the PFCM pads at autozone are a bit more grabby than Ford OEM 598 pads.

so these parts can be found at napa? my friend works there and gets like 40% off of stuff he buys there. i found the part number i think it is for the caliper brackets its #BK 6751585, im looking at the PFCM pads from auto zone, and the rotors from autozone or napa(which one?) all together it will be like 100 bux with his discount if i get most of it from napa.

I'm not sure if you can get the correct brackets by themselves from Autozone. You may have to get the loaded calipers to get them.

i looked for some caliper brackets, and i found some at advance auto, they are motormite brackets for $28/peice plus tax and they pn is Motormite 619104 and they are from a 97-99 SHO(didnt check 96), and 2001+ SLO(they should work then right?, should they ahve the FN74 stamp on them?). i also decided to get the PFCM pads from autozone and the bendix or raybestos (which are better?)rotors from advance auto(any better places/rotors anyone know of?),

I'm sorry, my last post should read "I'm not sure if you can get the correct brackets by themselves from NAPA. "

Yes, the correct brackets will have FN74 on them. Once again, I don't know if you will have any luck buying them by themselves.

What ever rotors you feel most comfortable buying are the rotors to get.

Bendix or Raybestos should be good. In the past I've gotten Raybestos rotors from Pep Boys, as they're pretty reasonable on the price.

i went to napa today, and i decided to try the "loaded" calipers (calipers, brake pads, and all mounting hardware) from a 95 continental. i got them with the ceramic pads. the pns were RBP 4424150ACMX (left) and RBP 4424151ACMX(right) i hope these are the right ones! they also came up with that pn for the 97 SHO and 2001 sable, so im pretty sure they are the right ones. i got the raybestos rotors, cuz theyre about 9 bux cheaper! cant wait for those ss lines and im gonna be able to drive the SHO again! no more full size mini van(93 aerostar extended cab) for me! :thumb:

yah, if i got my parents to pay for everything on the SHO, id be about $700 richer, but nooooo they only pay for "maintenence"(and so far they have payed for about $300 with me paying about $550)...so thats how i got them to pay for my brake UPGRADE!!!! hehe told em my brakes are warped and i need new ones, and they gladly shelled out the $ for everyting except the rotors!
