When replacing the transmission fluid in the MTX, is a simple flush and fill adequate, or is it also necessary to replace the seal?
Also, what are some of your thoughts on low-friction additives, such as Ford Friction Modifier? I have heard conflicting reports about the advantages disadvantages of adding these to the transmission as well as using to lubricate the differential.
I plan to do this tomorrow or the day after, Please advise. Thanks.
