Question about Ebay Kit.

What exactly is an eBay turbo? I didn't think that eBay was manufacturing turbos these days...

But don't bother calling them if you arn't serious, they are really busy.

FPS quoted me at I believe 6500 for a 300whp supercharger kit and tuning..... crazy high....

That would be great, i would have no problem relocating the battery, upgrading the injectors, and isnt the MAF just plug and play? im good at electronics.

I just sent FPS an email with what I want done to see how much they would want to do everything including parts if I dropped my car off.

What superchargers are generally used in SHO's? Vorteh i see alot.

How much does ntp generally charge for the piping? It would be much easier to do this.

And last question. If i supercharged my 3.0, and wanted to upgrade to a 3.2, would that cause lots of problems? i plan on keeping the 3.0 acc belt.

FWIW a brand new vortech unit is around 2k. everything else is easy/ alot cheaper.

Don't bother. All of the moving parts in that kit are crap.

Select an appropriately sized OE turbo that was designed to work on a production vehicle. Since you are going to be making the hot pipes(?), you can tailor them to the turbo you select. Search ebay store "justintercoolers" and pick out an IC/piping kit that you want for the cold side. Obviously, they are "builder kits and some cutting and thinking is required but for the price, the quality is not bad at all(what I'm using). Buy the BOV, waste gate(if not internal), boost controller and all other needed items from reputable(not no- name) manufacturers.
