Hey, not sure if anyone was aware of this, but Q-Logic appears to make kickpanels for '92-96 Tauruses. Would the same kick panel fit an '89 (Possibly with mods?) ...I'd really like some "custom" kickpanels, I HATE the awful stock speaker location. Would these '92 panels possibly fit my '89?

They are made for regular Taurii and IIRC don't fit correctly due to (extra) pedal placement. Check over at TCCA. I've seen more stereo related posts over there. You might even find a few folks that are working with fiberglass and would be willing to make you a custom set.

I know they fit my ATX, I don't see how the clutch would even hit it.
Maybe someone knows for sure.

I have it in my 92 sho 5speed and looks very cool! But it will hit the parking brake.Parking brake will not push in all the way.I always have to use the gear to make sure car won't move.I've to customize my door panel later so the parking brake will work 100%.

If you've every had a fiberglass project end poorly, you'd understand why a couple plastic pieces are $200...same goes for if you have any "custom" 'glass done....

Okay I've been wanting these kick panels for awhile. Does anybody have pics of these installed in their SHO? My sister works at bestbuy and I can probably get these pretty cheap. I might just get them and cut them to fit right.

The rumor saying that the kick panel being to close to the clutch and haveing to remove the emergency brake is a mith i have seen pics of them installed on a sho before. I think it had a black inter... and there was nothing special to install the panel...... :thumb:
