Pulsing fan belt.

Hi Folks, Does anyone know why my alt belt is pulsing on the pulley?? If you watch it, it undulates on the pulley, Is that a problem, I'm pretty sure that I have the belt lined up in therms of the grooves...Maybe a pulley is warped?? just wondering, Thanks,

it looks to me that part of one rib of the belt is missing for some reason, so that edge of the belt moves in and out. take a good look at the belt and see if it has 6 grooves the whole way along it.
