I was having puddles of water in mine for a little while. Turned out to be the drain on the Sunroof. There is a tube that water drains out of that goes somewhere .... It was full. I had a shop blow an air gun through it. It was fixed till I rolled her down the highway! Then it had a couple of more leaks that they couldnt fix ...

i know that there are these plug stopper things in the engine compartment right on the firewall. You can usually pop them out to install a wire for your amp or something along those lines. maybe that boot came out and it's an open hole now. check it out.

My 89 has recently started doing this. I could find no leak whatsoever. Only happens at the high pressure wash.

The water was coming in through the cold air ducts and pooling at the bottom of the fan housing (behind the glove-box). As far as I can tell..this is merely a design flaw.

there is indeed a drain in the cowl vent and it plugs very easily. You need to remove the cowl and clean the drain thouroughly (try compressed air)

I'll let you know if I dig up anything else such as a fix or solution.
