Problem: My slot-style maf adapter harness got ripped off , does this look right?

So I got this adaptor from Josh (VMP Tuning) to transfer from our MAF connector to a slot style maf (05+ mustang & lots of late fords)

The connector on the 05+ side got ripped , cut flush to the connector. So now I got myself a new 05+ connector at the junkyard and I want to re-mate all the wires but I have no clue where there were going.

All I got as a clue is this: http://vmptuning.com/index.php?p=product&id=1309

Is my repair ok? All I remember was that one side of the 05+ connector had 2 loose wires at one end.

Can someone double check this , I want something more solid then a sketchy picture where you guess where the wires are at.

It looks like you have it correct. In the photo of the actual adapter on the link you posted, both ends are wired exactly the same left to right so that when laid flat the wires will twist over from one side to the other. Thats how you have it in the pic of yours.

And he still didn't search for it! Lmao.

The point of that thread was that you can find these pigtails on any of the newer fords in the junkyard now and it's pretty much the type of thing you just put in your pocket instead of pay for. Not only that but if you get it from a Taurus or sable, the wire colors are identical except the IAT which you don't use anyways. I would hate to spend 50 bucks on a plug and play harness when it's such an easy job.

I do understand that some areas of the continent don't have junkyards that are as easily accessible.

Mine came from a focus , Its also on some mercs , E-series , F series , That connector is pretty much everywhere now.

Note the the 05+ side is dealer only , and its 40+$ at fords. Grabbed mine for 10.
