Very good article, now if I stop seeing posts that spark plugs cause detonation I will be happy. he even describes a crude ionization preignition detector, brilliant!!

you would be surprised at how many otherwise very smart people are totally ignorance of this topic in certain auto manufacturing companies, and they blame cetain spark plug manufacturing companies for piston scuff amid 1000's of other det. related issues.

the few non-essential statements he made that contradict things I have observed in real engines are so few they are not worth mentioning. I definitely will pass this on!
