If I wanted to go smaller I'd get a gt350 mustang, I do not. I love my SHO I just want more options. I need the room as I have 8 kids, 14 to 28 and 2 very large dogs that I will have to take in the car occasionally (100lb+).

I also have 10 grandchildren and have had a back seat full of them before, with car seats.

I have no interest in a fusion anything.

Sounds like you need Ford to re-release the Excursion! :p

The gap is adjustable - if you want to be right on the next's guys rear end, you can be.

For me, Ruby is right on. When I drive on any highway or interstate... I always use cruise control. Which it seems like the majority of people do not...so I am constantly hitting either the coast a few times or the accel a few times. The adaptive is just perfect. All matter of opinions I guess. I have been on trips with someone else driving and they don't use cruise for 3 to 4 hour stretches on the interstate. For me, it's a must...and I love love love the adaptive!

So in my SHO...the little cubby in front of the gear shifter. I have the power rear shade. Also a park assist button. Does anyone know - is that just the rear sensors? Or is that the auto parallel parking that Ford has? Or what? I am not sure what that button is for.....

Let me Clarify my previous post. I have not tried the SHO test yet buy my 2013 SEL The 19" wheel fit in the well width wise. The problem is it was not deep enough to fit flush so even though it physically fit in it sat way too high and the floor panel would not be flush. I have photos if anyone needs them.

I see a lot of ppl hyping up the adaptive cruise control but I personally never tried it till now.

My commute to work and back home has bumper to bumper traffic so I could never really get a chance use it until I went on a road trip down south of the border .

I got to say it is very handy and found myself loving it more and more for every mile I drove. It does a good job of staying at the same distance from the car in front of you until they get out of the way and you blow by them adaptively lol. I have a bad knee so this allowed me to stretch while not worrying about losing speed or time on my trip.

I can say that it is a neat feature. Only thing I dislike about the non/pp is the brakes!!! I feel as if the brakes on my SHO are more fitted for a Focus or Fusion not this tank of a car. So in the near future I will be upgrading to bigger brake and add some sass to it with red calipers with SHO printed on them. I saw someone did it to theirs on this forum and it look gorgeous :dribble:

Caliper Covers.......Google MGP they are the manufacturer $200 if I remember correctly and I believe you can get either Ford Logo or SHO. I also believe they come in different colors Black, Red and Silver come to mind......Make sure you specify SHO and either Perf Pkg or NON P/P when ordering.
