93 ATX.. cold morning (5 degrees).. started the car to warm up.. went in the house to get my coffee.. returned to car.. backed up.. NO power steering..
looked at driveway.. it appeared ALL of the PS Fluid had come out.. looked in the reservoir.. empty.. took 3 bottles to get the fluid level up to the dipstick.
What was THAT all about?

There has to be a serious leak for all of the PS fluid to puke out on the ground. I would start at the resivor, and work your way towards the pump, rack, cooler and lines, for the leak. When mine sprung a leak, it was the connection between the PS line and cooler. I took the cooler off, cut an inch or two off the PS lines, and reinstalled the cooler. Presto, no leaks. :thumb:
