I researched all of the previous posts. It seems that there are a number of people who have the same problem as I do. Steering feedback.... This is what I have done:

I removed the rack while I was replacing the clutch and the subframe bushings. Purchased a new rack and outer tie rod ends. Drained the PS fluid and flushed it with new fluid. The car still provides jerky feedback while steering. I read somewhere that replacing the VSS might help? The cruise works on my car I don't think it is a PS pump, I bought the car used at 79K it did it then, I now have 120K. Any ideas?

I'm not too sure if ford has this, pretty sure they do, but on Chevy's, the steering pump has a pressure diverting valve. If the valve goes bad, it will sometimes result in jerky steering. The part can be replaced, and is fairly cheap.
