Does it hurt to run your ps dry? Busted a damn ****** off my res trying to pull out one of the ac lines. Until I get another res I'm not sure how to feed it fluid and I need my car. Ive drive it without ps before it's not too horrible but I don't wanna ruin the pump they suck to change

You will destroy the pump in a hurry if you run it dry. If you need the car really bad just rig up some sort of res until you get a new one.

Been on the phone with friction parts store forever trying to find a damn tank they don't have to special order.... I guess I'll call the salvage yard in the morning to see if they have ANYTHING that would work...

Is it plastic? If so, go to the parts store, get some 60 second epoxy for plastic... or some plastic weld (like JB Weld but for plastic) Clean the crap out of it, dry it off and repair. Should get you down the road.

I would try the epoxy then... Let it cure fully then go NUTZ and coat the surrounding area... kinda like fiberglassing it. ;)

well so far I've put 2 coats on... gonna give it a bit to set then slap on a 3rd... I want that bastard to hold!

I have a couple recommendations for everyone though.... if you have to change the evaporator hose on your system, 1st don't, 2nd if you do make sure you pull the power steering reservoir out of the way when you're trying to yank it out (once it's loose)

well after 3 coats of epoxy 5min stuff and letting each sit for approximately 1 hour. It seems to of held, I slapped it on the car, and so far so good. I won't cross my fingers for my how long but I have another on order so hopefully that makes it before it goes.

Also was able to get the AC charged today, and blows nice and cold... nice to see the hard work pay off

You probably have it good enough, but if needed you can make the repair stronger by embedding a scrap of fiberglass cloth in the wet epoxy.
