Anyone else have problems with theirs? Mine is currently leaking on both sides so I need to replace it. Whats the best source? I found link to www.shosource.com from a quick search. Is this an uncommon issue?

I am biased, but I would only buy the racks from shosource.com ;)

I have personally had terrible experience with multiple racks purchased through the major auto parts stores since there is only one supplier that remans 90% of the racks. A search on the forum will reveal that other people have had the same poor results.

SHO Source uses a different rebuilder that has proven to be much higher quality.

I found a rack on ebay with lifetime warranty and I'm leaning more towards that as it's $175 + $40 core vs $280 + $150 core. I don't think I'll have this car much more than another year anyways.

Edit I messaged them and this is what they said:

Hello, Our Rack and Pinions are built to last longer then the vehicle will. If for some reason the Rack looses Power Steering or leaks for as long as you have the car, it will be replaced for free and the we will pay installation. We are the manufacturers so their is no third part to deal with on warranties. Just let us know and we will take care of you. Thank you
