All,
Not sure how complicated or severe but I have a leak. Power steering fluid drivers side near the wheel. It has been leaking on cardboard in the garage and sometimes the size of the puddle is 3" diameter. I see one can purchase seals. I can look under the car tonight to get more information but is it possible to put new seals on without pulling the entire system off? Or am I looking at an expensive fix?

Now the speedometer is acting up. The speed drops for 50 mph to zero and the car starts to lose power. Losing power because of the transmission doesnt know what gear. Hoping to make it home from work. Is it possible power steering fluid messed up the speed sensors? I am thinking the speed sensor on the driver side wheel if these cars have them. any other areas i should check?

Speed is from the ABS system. Probably a coincidence. Check the connector to the ABS pump in front of the battery. It's a 10mm bolt on the connector. WRT the rack leak, I'd replace the rack before trying to do the seals. R&R labor is the same.
