Ok, so thankfully the SHO is being put away for the winter and the Blazer is getting back on the road. While I have the SHO stored, I am thinking it will be a good time to replace the power steering pump. I am fairly certain it is on it's way out. My turning sucks at low speeds and is VERY loud. I have only been driving when I really need to so as to not completely F the thing up. Anyone done a pump on the V8....suggestions/tips/hints welcome.

I just had my intake off. Doesn't look too hard and I really doubt you have to take off the intake. I did have my high pressure line leak where it connects to the pump. This is really a rinky **** connection. If I position the pipe just so it does not leak.

Flush the fluid before starting and using the car after replacing the pump by cranking the engine with the ignition disabled and the PS cooler hose disconnected. Do not let air into the system.
